About us

The Latin American Motorcycle Association was founded in Chicago in 1977 as a single chapter that stood for nearly 20 years. Since then, LAMA has grown both Nationally and Internationally into the organization it is today.

Our LAMA Phillipsburg chapter was found in 2018 to bring a family orientated motorcycle riding association to our western NJ/Eastern PA community. We are proud of our involvement within those communities, which has included donations and volunteer events throughout the years.

Despite our organization's name, LAMA is open to any who rides their motorcycle on the open road! We accept all people regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexual identity. We do not discriminate based on the bike you ride, whether it be a traditional motorcycle or a trike.
